A Long‑Standing Family Kennel With Two Wings and Comfortable Indoor & Outdoor Spaces
Myownly Boarding Kennel has been family owned and operated for more than 30 years. What began as a small, thoughtfully designed kennel on five acres outside Monroe has grown into a trusted facility known for comfort, safety, and individualized care. Every part of our property was built with pets in mind—from the layout of our wings to the way our team moves through daily routines.
Designed For Every Dog
The west wing
Added in 1992, the West Wing offers 30 runs ranging from three to eight feet wide. This wing includes heated floors and indoor/outdoor kennels for dogs who benefit from extra room or specific environmental comforts. The flexible setup allows us to accommodate a wide range of personalities, sizes, and care needs.
There is no price difference between the wings. During your dog’s trial board, our staff will evaluate where your dog is most comfortable and place them accordingly.
The east wing
The East Wing features 20 indoor runs, each five feet wide and eight feet deep. These runs face away from one another and include dens & privacy screens, making this wing ideal for shy, sensitive, or easily overstimulated dogs. It’s a quiet, structured environment where dogs who prefer space can settle in comfortably.
Climate controlled
Both wings are fully climate‑controlled with heating and air conditioning to keep pets comfortable year‑round. Indoor areas stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and dogs in indoor/outdoor runs can choose where they want to relax throughout the day.
Security & Monitoring
The facility is equipped with security cameras throughout key areas of the property. This allows our team to monitor activity, maintain safety, and ensure pets are resting comfortably. While not in the kennel itself, there is always someone on property overnight.
Safe, secure outdoor areas
Our outdoor spaces are fully fenced, well‑maintained, and designed to give pets room to stretch, explore, and relax safely. Gates and perimeter areas are checked regularly, and dogs in indoor/outdoor runs can move freely between their climate‑controlled indoor space and their secure outdoor run throughout the day.

Myownly Boarding Kennel has been family owned and operated since its inception in 1989. Founded by Cathi and now run by her son Andy, the facility reflects decades of hands-on experience, veterinary partnerships, and a deep commitment to individualized care. We’re proud to be a trusted part of the Monroe community!
